DID YOU KNOW?

If we are to praise our creator, we need to use His true name. There are many gods but there is only one true God, Yahweh, our Elohim. He loves to hear His true name(s) and tells us so in the scriptures just as His son, Yahshua, loves to hear His true name.

I love the Restoration Study Bible because its gives us the true names of our God, and His son, Yahshua, Messiah. It gives the history of the name, and its origin and explains how the name Jesus came much later and the fact that the letter "J" was not even part of the Hebrew, Greek or English alphabet until about the 15th century.

26:1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; we have a strong city, salvation with Elohim appoint for walls and bulwarks. 26:2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 26:4 Trust ye in Yahweh forever: for in Yah YAHWEH is everlasting strength. 26:5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust. 26:6 The foot shall tread it down even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy. 26:7 The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just. 26:8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Yahweh, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.

MARRIAGE

Are you struggling with your marriage? Do you know that God wants everyone to have a happy and successful marriage. There is an excellent article in The Good News magazine which is available by mail or online at their site www.gnmagazine.org.

Marriage was given to man by God. The first man and woman to be married was Adam and Eve. Marriage was sanctified when God joined Adam and Eve in the garden. God wanted to create a family and marriage is for God's family.

The July-August issue of The Good News explains the ultimate purpose of marriage and backs it up with scripture. This article also explains the marriage of God's children and its connection to Christ and His marriage to the church.
